Our literacy class is learning how to read maps and a saying for NESW N stands for North,E stands for East,S stands for South and W stands for West. The saying for this is Never Eat Soggy Weet-bix.
Hello Toma, My name is Javious Williams. I was assigned by my teacher to come visit your blog. I see that your class is working on maps, which should be interesting. Maps are fairly easy to learn. Once you learn the difference between North, South, East, and West, it will be much easier to understand how to read maps.
Hi Toma, I'm Alex Odell from Dr. Strange's EDM310 Class at the University of South Alabama. Learning your directions will be very useful for the rest of your life. Everything will be easier when you travel outside of your town. It can be very helpful when someone else asks you for directions. I learned my directions as "Never Eat Soggy Waffles" or when you look at the compass the West and East say "we." I hope you are enjoying learning your directions. It will be so helpful in life.
Hello, Toma. I am Isaac Wiggins. I am a junior currently attending the University of South Alabama. I am taking a class called,"EDM 310." It has taught me how to blog. I hope to be a teacher one day. I can barely read a map and I am almost 23 years old. It is good to learn that skill because many people cannot read maps anymore. When does Rugby season start in New Zealand? I enjoyed your post. Hope you have a blessed year.
Hi, Toma. My name is Paige and I am a student at the University of South Alabama. Reading a map is very important, I use a map daily to get me from one place to another. There are many acronyms for North South Eat West. Some that I learned were:N-never, E-eat, S-sour, W-worms or N-never, E-eat, S-sour ,W-watermelon These silly little rhymes will really help you learn North South East West. Have a great week.
Hey, Toma! Like my fellow classmates, I am a student in EDM310 at the University of South Alabama. Maps and directions are one thing I have struggled with. I have found the saying of "Never Eat Soggy Waffles" helps, but only if I can remember which letter goes where! I really enjoyed reading about your progress though, knowing what is north, south, east, and west is great, it'll help you a lot as you move through your education! I also looked up Weet-bix, and you're right, they do not look like they would be very tasty while soggy!
