We have been collaborating as a group to write this narrative about a farmer?

Toma P1. Once there lived a farmer who lived in the farm with his wife.They were going to the barber for a haircut. His name was Joey he was a silly farmer. He would always get bored because of his job, he was a trucker.

Datanian P2. When the trucker was driving he was falling asleep. He was going to a cliff, Joey was very tired and he was about to fall of the edge. But he got saved by a flying cow that he use to mock, it was a miracle!

Henry P3. So is wife came and picked him up from the truck. She picked him up and put him inside the house.When she put him inside he woke up and he said “What am I doing here? I don't remember you, ah get away from me.”

Maurice P4. Then when he woke up he had remembered that she was his wife, the girl standing there was his wife.He was so happy to see her again. Joey was filled with happiness once more.Then in the end they were both happy to see each other again.

My holiday highlight

Title:My exciting and boring holiday

P1: In the holiday I went no where. All I did was lay down in bed and play games on my brothers PlayStation two and my cousins Xbox live. We just played rugby, battlefield two and the the getaway black Monday it was cool.

P2. Then we went to the park every time! We went to the park I would always moan and say”I don't want to go the park”! But would my mum listen no she would say “Come on lets go”.Thats when my holiday got boring and stink too.

P3. Then after that we just had relaxing time in bed and on our games it would always be cool stink and then cool stink for long.Then finally it was the third to last day of the holidays. I was happy a little bit and bored.When it was the second to last day we made our own cupcakes and cookies and for dinner we had hot cocoa cheese toast and went to bed.

P4. In the end of the holidays I was bored I was cool and I liked playing on the game and i wish i could get more sleep.

The Brainy Raccoon

Prompt.Write a story about a brainy raccoon who invents a spaceship to go to Pluto.

This is a story about a brainy raccoon that goes to pluto in a spaceship.The raccoon’s name was Johnny. He was brainier than a monkey and a orca whale together, he was too brainy for school that he skipped year 6 and became a doctor for St John. Then a few years later on his 16th birthday he became an astronaut it was his dream to become an astronaut.

He went to and astronaut school he shouted with excitement “this is awesome!!!!!” as he saw the spaceships flying into space to investigate the planet pluto.Then year 5 from pt england school came. Because they had a trip to the astronaut school then the boss of the  astronaut school his name was Mr Timmy.He was a nice man and said to us “come come I will show you around astronaut school” and he did.

For a special treat he gave the year fives Ice-Cream it was yummy then they saw the raccoon they all said “wow!!!” then it was the it was raccoons turn he was so happy to do his dream. But then there spaceship lost their power his dream was ruined he was very sad that his dream was over.His family saw because it was on tv he was sad they were sad every family member was sad.

Then he prayed to God so that all if the spaceships would work. Then something magical happened a light from the sky came and then everything went again and also the bus went to it was awesome everyone was filled with excitement. He dream came true and he could not wait to go to pluto he shouted “this is the best day ever”.

Antarctica Narrative

P1: Introduction - characters, what is going on,

When, Who, What, Where, Why

A researcher is going throw the cold howling wind in Antarctica the coldest and driest continent on earth.He was trying to find the Scott base in the freezing Antarctica.The researcher was trying to find a place to stay inside and keep warm because he was so cold.Then he came out and he kept walking and walking and then he could see someone he was so happy but it was a big Emperor penguin

P2: Problem - what was problem?

Then the big Emperor penguin went because it knew that a big windy blizzard was coming.It was right the big windy blizzard did come it got colder and colder and colder until he almost friezed and then he got to the frozzing water and he was scared cause he thorught that a big killer whale or a leopard seal was going to come a get eaten.By the killer whale or the leopard seal and that he would be its dinner or its lunch or breakfast he starred to call out for help but no one heard him.

P3: Action - what happened straight after the problem?

A  leopard seal was swimming from under the water and then a killer whale came past he saw the killer whale but he did not see the leopard seal.The leopard seal jump out of the water and then the killer whale jump out to he screamed loud like a girl and.Then there some people were filming they were fighting

P4: Conclusion - How the problem was solved?

The people filming saw the researcher and the researcher saw them he said help and they saw him they stop there filming and went to go and get the researcher on the big boat and they went closer and closer and then he ran and ran to the steel boat and then they put the stairs down and then the researcher went up and up onto the boat and they took him to scoot base

This is a story about a new girl that started school and she was a big bully.No one liked the new girl she would scribble on another drawing,tip peoples lunch into there lunch box she was such a bully.Every one did not like the new girl she called everyone nasty names she was such a bully she called biff a parrot face.Then she started to get good biff was happy and every one was happy to and she called no one nasty names and did no more nasty things any more.

I did not like the beginning then when it went to the end i started to like it at the end.

Mothers come back from there trip and feed their chicks.The mothers feed their chicks by vomiting into the babies mouth.Now it is the Dads turn to go out to and find fish. Just before the father penguins hop in the water they see a leopard seal.Sadly, one penguin gets eaten by a leopard seal.

Antarctica is in the south pole, which is at the bottom of new Zealand.The ocean around Antarctica is called the southern ocean.It is the driest and coldest continent on earth.

No people call Antarctica home only researchers. Some Animals can Survive the cold and dry weather of Antarctica. These animals are penguin, seals and snow petrels what is a bird.

Antarctica is spilt into 2 main areas West Antarctica and the East

Antarctica.They are split up by the trans-Antarctic Mountains. East Antarctica

is nearly ¾  bigger than west Antarctica.

and also. Did you now when you are up top it is zero degrees but when you go depper it gets to 1 degrees and then it gets warmer.

Tomas term 1 reflection

What was your best moment in term one? Why? Doing year 5 and 6 camp in 2013. Because we went to the Mangere pools.

What was the most important thing you learnt? Posting a post on my blog and. I got 33 post on my own blog.

What subject do you do the best in this term and why? Inquiry with Mr Barks with our work. and then posting our finishing work on our blog.

What subject did you not do so well in and why? Puting my documents away into our folders. Because i forget my work is open.

 Did I manage my time wisely this term? How? e.g. finishing most tasks, working independently, getting work on the conferencing doc. Yes because I always finish of my work before goldentime.

 Did I get Golden Time this much this term? Why or Why not? yes because I finish of my work fast.
